R0P Magazine Manifesto:
This historical time, with all its uncertainty and sufferings, brought us something unexpected: the chance of making a choice. We are free to chose our own way without following any prearranged path. When everything is uncertain and it seems that our lives are decided despite our will, we can only but try to change the rules. We choose to believe in ourselves, in the power of our own hands and minds, the only real things that remain.
ROP is a rite of passage which leads to the knowledge of ourselves and to the choices we have to make to become part of our history. ROP is a choice. It is a choice of a group of people who want to be independent and free from the market’s logics, from any compromise and also from their readers’ public. Who wants to please everyone will never create something which is really new.
We address to those who are able to see beyond the surface, to those who reject the pornography of reality, to those who want slowly unveil it, know it deeply with all its shades and contradictions. We are free to try, to become successful or fail, but we never beg for anything. And you will have the certainty that everything you will see and read, will be our version of the world, without any sort of censorship nor filters.

Questo momento storico con tutta la sua sofferenza ed incertezza, ci ha regalato una cosa che non avremmo mai creduto possibile. La scelta. Scegliere di percorrere la propria strada senza etero-direzioni. Perché quando nulla è certo e sembra che tutto sia deciso “nonostante noi”, possiamo solo provare a cambiare le regole. Scommettere su noi stessi, sulle nostre mani e la nostra testa, poiché sono le uniche cose che ci restano.
ROP è un rito di passaggio che ci porta a capire chi siamo, che determinerà che parte avremo nella storia e le scelte che faremo per prendervi parte. ROP è questo, una scelta. La scelta di un gruppo di persone di essere indipendenti. Libere dalle logiche di mercato, dai compromessi e perfino dai lettori stessi. Chi vuole accontentare tutti, non crea nulla di nuovo.
A noi interessa quel gruppo di persone capaci di leggere tra le righe, quelli che non vogliono la versione pornografica della realtà, ma vogliono spogliarla lentamente, conoscerla intimamente con tutte le sue sfaccettature e contraddizioni. Siamo liberi di provare, avere successo o fallire, ma non mendicheremo mai nulla. E voi avrete la sicurezza che ogni cosa che vedrete e leggerete sarà la nostra visione del mondo, senza censure e senza filtri.
